Ripley, Thomas (1683–1758)
| English architect, born in Yorkshire. In 1729 he became surveyor to Greenwich Hospital. As architect, his work included the Admiralty, London (1723–26), the screen of which was added later by Robert Adam, and Wolterton Hall, Norfolk (1724–30). |
