Rix, Julian Waldbridge (1850-1903)

US painter who is known for his Impressionist landscapes, as in Pompton Plains, New Jersey 1898.

He was born in Peacham, Vermont. His family moved to San Francisco in 1855, he worked as a decorative painter, illustrator, and landscape artist, and then moved to Patterson, New Jersey, and New York City in 1889.
