Robertson, Howard Morley (born 1888)

US architect, born at Salt Lake City, USA. He was educated in England and at the Ecole des Beaux Arts, Paris, and began practice in 1919 with J M Easton. His buildings include the Royal Horticultural Society Hall (1935), and the Shell Building on the South Bank, London (1953–62). His books include Principles of Architectural Composition (1924), and Modern Architectural Design (1932).

He was principal of the Architectural Association School of Architecture, 1920–35.
