Robins, Margaret Drier

Robins, Margaret Drier (1868–1945)

US labour activist. She was president of the Women's Trade Union League during its formative years 1907–22, effectively organizing working women, training them for leadership in unions, and winning protective legislation.

She was born in Brooklyn, the daughter of successful immigrants. She and her husband moved to Florida in 1925, where she supported charitable activities and progressive politics.
