Rochelle

Town in Ogle County, north Illinois; population (1990) 8,800. It is situated on the Kyte River, 23 km/14 mi west of De Kalb, in an agricultural region. It has been noted especially for canning asparagus grown locally and as a builder of small diesel engines.
