| Italian composer. He wrote church music (including ten Masses), madrigals, and instrumental music, and a treatise, Regole di Musica, which was published at Naples in 1600 but is now known only from its second and third editions (1609 and 1626), edited by his pupil Giovanni Battista Olifante. |
