Roll, Michael (1946- )

English pianist. He studied with Fanny Waterman and made his London debut with the Schumann Concerto at the Festival Hall in 1958. He won the 1963 Leeds International Competition and has since appeared with leading orchestras in Britain, Europe, and Russia, making his US debut with the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 1974 and his New York recital debut in 1992.
