Romantic Symphony

Nickname of a symphony by Anton Bruckner, no. 4 in E flat. The first version was composed in 1874 and first performed at Linz on 20 September 1875. A version with a new scherzo and revised finale was performed at Vienna on 20 February 1881, conducted by Hans Richter.
