Rosebud

Small town in Todd County, south South Dakota; population (1990) 1,500. It is located 129 km/80 mi southwest of Pierre, on the Rosebud Indian Reservation. The town serves as the reservation's administrative headquarters and is home to Sinte Gleska College (1970). The Sioux Indian Museum is nearby.
