Roselle Park

Town in Union County, northeast New Jersey; population (1990) 12,800. It is to the northwest of Roselle. Founded in the early 18th century and once called North Roselle, it was the site of a communications equipment factory established by Marconi in 1913. Today it is much like Roselle in its residential character, industries, and warehouse facilities. Additional manufactures include leather goods, surgical instruments, and carpets.
