Ross, Edmund Gibson

Ross, Edmund Gibson (1826–1907)

US senator and journalist. He served in the US Senate (Republican, Kansas) 1866–71. He moved to New Mexico, where he was territorial governor 1885–89.

He was born in Ashland, Ohio. He was a newspaper editor-publisher, and framer of the Kansas constitution.
