Romanian

People of Romanian culture from Romania, Serbia, Moldova, and the surrounding area. There are 20-25 million speakers of the Romanian language.

Historically the Romanians were known as Vlachs (German ‘foreigner’). The religion of the Romanians is predominantly Romanian Orthodox, though there is a Greek Orthodox minority.
