Battle 13 July 1643 at Roundway Down, 3 km/2 mi north of Devizes, Wiltshire, England, between Royalist troops under Lord Wilmot and Parliamentarians under Sir William Waller. The Parliamentarians were defeated, losing all their cannon and much ammunition.
