Roussel, Ker Xavier (1867-1944)

French painter, decorator, and pastellist. Associated with les Nabis, he painted mythological subjects, usually sunny landscapes peopled with nymphs and fauns. He worked closely with Edouard Vuillard in stage design and decorative undertakings.
