Rowley, Samuel (died c. 1624)

English dramatist. He was associated with the theatre manager Philip Henslowe, probably as a reviser of other people's plays. He himself wrote several plays on biblical subjects, but his only surviving work is When You See Me You Know Me 1605, a chronicle play about Henry VIII.

He may have made additions to Christopher Marlowe's Dr Faustus, first published in 1604.
