Rubtsovsk

Town in the Altai krai (territory) of the Russian Federation, in southern Siberia , 280 km/mi southwest of Barnaul near the border with Kazakhstan; population (1996 est) 168,000. Since World War II, it has been a major centre of agricultural engineering, including tractor manufacture.
