Sabath, Adolph J (1866–1952)

Bohemian-born US representative. He emigrated to the USA in 1881 and supported himself through law school, becoming a US representative in 1907. He championed unrestricted immigration and pro-labour measures, such as workmen's compensation, and was an internationalist ally to presidents Roosevelt and Truman.
