Sabbatini, Luigi Antonio (1732–1809)

Italian composer. He was a pupil of Padre Martini and Vallotti. From 1766 he was maestro di cappella of Mariono Cathedral, a post he held from 1772 at the Church of the Holy Apostles in Rome, and from 1786 at San Antonio in Padua. He published a number of treatises on counterpoint, and fugue. He composed chiefly church music.
