Sachs, (Barney) Bernard (1858-1944)

US neurologist. Sachs led the development of organic neurology at the New York Polyclinic Hospital 1885-1905. He went on to become consulting neurologist at Mount Sinai Hospital, and president of the American Neurological Association. He specialized in children's neurological diseases and wrote Nervous Diseases of Children (1885).
