Sachs, (Barney) Bernard (1858–1944)

US neurologist. Sachs led the development of organic neurology at the New York Polyclinic Hospital 1885–1905. He went on to become consulting neurologist at Mount Sinai Hospital, and president of the American Neurological Association. He specialized in children's neurological diseases and wrote Nervous Diseases of Children (1885).
