Saint-Georges

City in southeastern Québec, Canada, 86 km/53 mi southeast of Québec City, on the Chaudière River at its confluence with the Famine River; population (1991) 19,600. Its economy is based on forest industries and some dairying.

After the American invasion of 1775 along the Chaudière, the area was settled by the British.
