Saint-Sulpice

Church in Paris, France, in the Saint-Germain quarter. It was completed by the architect Servandoni in 1745, and contains a celebrated painting by Delacroix, Jacob's Wrestling.

On the Place Saint-Sulpice is a monumental fountain adorned with the figures of Bossuet, Fenelon, Flechier, and Massillon. There also stands the former Seminary of Saint-Sulpice established by Jean-Jacques Olier, founder of the Priests of Saint-Sulpice.
