Saint-Jérôme| City in southern Québec, Canada, 49 km/30 mi northwest of Montréal, in the lower Laurentians, on the Rivière du Nord; population (1991) 23,400. It produces textile, paper, and other products. With ski areas and summer resorts just to the north, tourism is also important. |
