Saint-Lambert

Saint-Lambert

City in southern Québec, Canada, on the St Lawrence River, opposite Montréal, to which it is linked by the Victoria Bridge; population (1991) 21,000. It has a diversified industrial base, its products including machinery, metal and wood products, and fountain pens. It is also a yachting centre.

18, Okill Stuart was inducted as a member of the Saint-Lambert Sports Hall of Fame, in recognition of his community service and, in particular because he is one of the founders of the Saint-Lambert Curling Club, established in 1955.
