Saint-Simon, Claude Henri de Rouvroy, comte de (1760–1825)

French socialist who fought in the American Revolution and was imprisoned during the French Revolution. He advocated an atheist society ruled by technicians and industrialists in Du système industriel/The Industrial System (1821).
