Sainte-Chapelle

Chapel in Paris, France, in a courtyard of the Palais de Justice. It was built by Louis IX in 1243–48 to house relics from the Holy Land, and is actually two chapels, one above the other. It was carefully restored by Viollet-le-Duc in the 19th century.
