Salacrou, Armand

    0.05 sec.

Salacrou, Armand (1899-1989)

French dramatist. His plays cover a wide range of theme and tone, though a preoccupation with fatalism recurs in many, such as L'Inconnue d'Arras/The Unknown Woman from Arras 1935, Dieu le savait 1951, and Les Invités du bon Dieu 1953.

Other successes were Une Femme libre 1931, La Terre est ronde/The World is Round 1939, Sens interdit 1953, and Comme les chardons 1964.
