Salisbury, Thomas de Montacute (1388-1428)

English noble. He served with Henry V in France in 1415 during the Hundred Years' War, and took part in the siege of Harfleur and the Battle of Agincourt that year. He was twice ambassador to France, in 1414 and 1418, and was made lieutenant general of Normandy and Count of Perche in 1419. He was mortally wounded while besieging Orléans.
