| Opera in prologue and three acts by the Italian composer Landi (libretto by Rospigliosi). It was first produced at the Paluz Barberini, Rome, on 21 February 1632. In the story, Alessio returns home from the Holy Land, resists worldly temptation, and continues his life of renunciation. |
