Santoliquido, Francesco (1883–1971)

Italian composer. He studied at the Liceo di Santa Cecilia in Rome and conducted his student work Crepuscolo sul mare at Nuremberg in 1909. He produced his first opera at Milan in 1910. He then went to live in the small Arab village in Hammamek in Tunisia, where he studied the local music.
