Sarandon, Susan (1946– )| US film actor. Her first major film role was as Janet in the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975). She went on to become a prolific actor known for the emotional depth of her characterizations. Her other films include The Witches of Eastwick (1987), Thelma and Louise (1991), and Dead Man Walking (1995; Academy Award). |
