Sauer, Emil (George Konrad) (1862–1942)

German pianist and composer. He studied with Nikolai Rubinstein at the Moscow Conservatory and later with Liszt. In 1882 he began to tour Europe and first visited England in 1894. From 1901, with certain intervals, he directed a master class at the Vienna Conservatory.
