Savanna-la-Mar

Commercial town and port on the south coast of Jamaica, in the West Indies, 206 km/128 mi west of Kingston; population (1991) 16,300. It is the port of a district which produces sugar, coffee, and ginger.

The Parish Church, built in 1903–04, occupies the site of a former church built in 1799.
