Schale, Christian Friedrich (1713–1800)

German organist and composer. He was a pupil of C F Rolle in Magdeburg. In 1741 he entered the service of Frederick II of Prussia, and became the organist of Berlin Cathedral in 1763. He composed mostly keyboard music.
