Schefferville
| City in northeastern Québec, Canada, 935 km/580 mi northeast of Québec City, on the Labrador border; population (1991) 300. It was founded as a company town in the 1950s, to exploit iron ore deposits. It still has some mining, and is now a scientific and regional service centre. |
