    0.02 sec.

Schlanke Emma

Austrian 305 mm howitzer in World War I, similar in concept to the German Big Bertha.

Developed by Skoda 1911–13 it was moved in three parts by road tractors and assembled at the firing point. Capable of firing a 380 kg/840 lb shell to a range of 12 km/7.5 mi, two were loaned to the German Army to supplement the Big Berthas attacking Belgian and French forts 1914, and others were used against the Italians and Russians at various times.
