Schobert, Johann (Jean) (c. 1720-1767)

German harpsichordist and composer. Mozart arranged one of his sonata movements as the second movement of the concerto K39.

He lived in Paris, and was in the service of the Prince of Conti from about 1720, but died young, with his wife and child, as a result of fungus poisoning.
