Schwartz, Louis B (1913–2003)

US legal educator. In 1964 Schwartz was aide to US ambassador Chester Bowles in India. On his return he taught at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and in 1967 he became director of the National Commission on Reform of Federal Criminal Laws. Schwartz was the author of many books and papers, including Free Enterprise and Economic Organization (1983–85).
