Schwarz, Boris (1906–1983)

US musicologist, violinist, and conductor. He studied with Flesch and Thibaud in Berlin and Paris; after a 1920 debut he performed widely in Europe, settling in the USA in 1936. He held various academic posts in New York from 1941 and made a special study of Soviet music.
