Schwindl, Friedrich (1737–1786)

Dutch or German violinist, flautist, harpsichordist, and composer. He wrote over 30 symphonies, and belonged to the Mannheim School.

He was at The Hague when Charles Burney stayed there in 1770, later at Geneva and Mulhouse, and finally at Karlsruhe as music director to the Margrave of Baden.
