Sciutti, Graziella (1927- )

Italian soprano. She studied in Rome, making her debut at Aix-en-Provence in 1951, where her roles were Despina, Susanna, and Zerlina. She was especially well known in soubrette roles. She made her Glyndebourne debut in 1954, as Rosina. From 1956 she appeared in London at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, as Oscar, Nannetta, and Despina. In recent years she has turned to operatic production, including La Voix Humaine, at Glyndebourne, and L'elisir d'amore at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden).
