Scott, Charlotte Angas (1858–1931)

English-born mathematician. Scott emigrated to the USA in 1885 to head the mathematics department at Bryn Mawr College. She was editor of the American edition of Arithmetic for Schools, and her other works include An Introductory Account of Certain Modern Ideas and Methods in Plane Analytical Geometry (1894).
