Scott, John Paul (1909-2000)

US animal behaviourist. Scott became a professor of psychology at Bowling Green State University, Ohio, in 1965. An authority on the physiology of aggression, he applied his early interest in behavioural genetics of guinea pigs and fruit flies to the biology, social behaviour, and genetics of dogs, mice, and other mammals.
