Scylla et Glaucus

Opera by Jean-Marie Leclair (libretto by d'Albaret), produced at the Paris Opéra on 4 October 1746. The plot describes Glaucus in pursuit of the nymph Scylla. Glaucus asks Circe for help but the jealous sorceress turns Scylla into the rock which accompanies the whirlpool Charybdis.
