Seathwaite

Hamlet at the head of Borrowdale, in the English Lake District, Cumbria, 13 km/8 mi southwest of Keswick. With an average of 3,300 mm/130 ins per year, Seathwaite has the highest annual rainfall in England.

Seathwaite marks the beginning of the ascent by foot to Sty Head Pass, from where many of the peaks in the region may be climbed.
