Lower Largo

Coastal village and summer resort in Fife unitary authority, Scotland, situated on Largo Bay, 14 km/9 mi east of Glenrothes. It has a small harbour and a fishing industry, and is flanked by the resorts of its parish neighbours, Lundin Links to the west and Kirkton of Largo (or Upper Largo) to the north.

The village was the birthplace of Alexander Selkirk, the Scottish sailor who inspired Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe.

The volcanic mound of Largo Law, which rises to a height of 290 m/951 ft, is situated 3 km/2 mi to the northeast of the village.
