Sebastopol

Alternative spelling of Sevastopol, a Black Sea port on the peninsula of Crimea in Ukraine.

Sebastopol

City in northwestern California, 11 km/7 mi west of Santa Rosa; population (1990) 7,000. It is the centre of a hillside area well known for its apples, with processing plants and a growing residential sector. Tourism is important, and there are wineries nearby.
