Selkirk Mountains
| Range of mountains in British Columbia, Canada, forming a subdivision of the Columbia Mountains, part of the North American Rocky Mountains chain. The range is bounded by the Columbia River on the east, west, and north. Sir Sandford (3,533 m/11,590 ft) is the highest peak, and there are others over 3,000 m/9,842 ft high. Rogers Pass lies in the range. A section of the mountains is contained within the Glacier National Park. |
