Setton, Kenneth M (1914- )

US historian. Setton taught at the University of Manitoba, Canada, 1943-50, and at Columbia, 1950-65. One of America's most distinguished medievalists, his works include the five-volume A History of the Crusades and the four-volume The Papacy and the Levant, 1204-1571.
