Sevierville

Town and administrative headquarters of Sevier County, east Tennessee, 35 km/22 mi southeast of Knoxville, on the Little Pigeon River; population (1990) 7,200. It is a trade centre for a farm and timber area.

To the south are the Great Smoky Mountains, and to the northeast is Douglas Lake on the French Broad River.
